Projects:
The establishment of Sweden-Vietnam diplomatic relations in 1969 was followed later the same year by the announcement of Swedish aid. The construction of a paper and pulp mill at Bai Bang consumed 2, 8 billion SEK (440 million USD) of funding between1970 to the end of Swedish assistance in 1995. The idea behind the project was simple, Sweden would provide support to Vietnam to construct an integrated pulp and paper mill that would create jobs and raise living standards in the region.
Bai Bang has grown from a village to a town with about 23,000 inhabitants today despite a number of challenges. Bai Bang has now become the largest paper mill in Vietnam, and one of the most modern and successful paper mills in the country employing around 3,500 workers, Bai Bang is producing about 40 percent of all the paper in Vietnam and is one of the largest manufacturers of toilet paper in the country.
Involved in following Projects at the Mill:
o Commissioning of Paper Machine No 1 and final test of Paper Machine No 2.
o Erection and Commissioning of one New Cooling Tower for Power Plant.
o Erection and Commissioning of one 25 MVA Transformer (130 / 10 kV)
Electrical Department was responsible for Design, Installation (Temporary and Permanent at the Mill) and Maintenance of following:
o Power Plant, Pulp Mill, Paper Mill, Chemical Plant,
o Power Transmission, Distribution Networks,
o Water and Sewage Treatment Plants,
o Crushing Plant and Batting Plants,
o Buildings,

Upgrades of Uong Bi and Olof Palmes Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam (Southeast Asia)

As Consultant prepared the proposal for the required of upgrades required and presented to client for final approval to proceed with the proposed upgrades. Prepared design, Conceptual and tender design, Preparation of technical specifications, Preparation and Review of Bidding Documents, Inquires Review of bidding documents; Evaluation of bids; Bidding assistance
Contract negotiations with contractors, Preparation of contract documents, Contract Management
Design Review; Supervision of works and commissioning of works
Coordination and bridging between Client and Contractor to ensure that the progress and work will meet the overall project needs by guiding in progress monitoring, time scheduling, cost monitoring etc. Dispute resolution, Management of changes, and various interface coordination’s etc. with the contractors.
In charge of following Projects:
• Upgrade of the electrical system at Uong Bi and Olof Palmes Hospital.
• Upgrade of the electrical system at Hanoi Medical Factory.
• Upgrade of the 10kV OHL in-between Uong Bi Hospital and Power Station in Uong Bi.
• Total Head Office Electrical & MEP installation
